Start Your Day in Great Company

Why not start your day enjoying a hearty breakfast and making new contacts at our pre-event networking session, sponsored by the Kent Association of Further Education Colleges (KAFEC)?

This informal breakfast session runs from 7.00-8.30am (immediately before the main event opens) and includes some fascinating food for thought about the many ways that Higher Education should be supporting local businesses.

Q. Do you find it easy to recruit graduates that fit the requirements of your business?

Q. Do you use professional training to unlock the potential of your existing staff?

Q. Do you actively engage with the education sector to create the skills you need?

Join our live debate about the employability of applicants today and how the Further Education sector can work in partnership with business to train local talent with the skills required by your industry.

This thought-provoking session will kick-off with a special Keynote from Emma Liddiard, the new Chairman of the Institute of Directors Kent Branch and Managing Director of Heart Radio – followed by an interactive panel discussion and a chance to add your voice to the debate. Panel members include experienced business leaders such as Paul Charman from Delphi Diesel Systems Technical Centre, Jackie Dearden from the Early Years Nursery and Nicholas Fowler from Deene Construction.

Tickets cost just £20 + VAT, including full cooked breakfast and some great company. Book your place now by downloading a booking form at:  www.kent2020.co.uk/application.html.
